Bath Time Buddies

I get a lot of responses from people when I post about Logan, and quite frankly I love spending time with my little man. Last month I was mentioning how I was trying to be more intentional with the family. There is not reason to stop sharing the ways that I like to be intentional with the family. So I have been brainstorming some things that we do as a family that would be fun to post about. One of Logan's favorite things to do is get a bath with daddy. Getting a bath is like, "Oh, cool, it's bath time." But when daddy is around it changes to, "O YEA!!!! Come on, it's bath time!!!!"

So, here are some photos from one of our bath time routines:

The toy line up...we had the Captain and his Boat, the Fishes, the stacking cups, Duckie and Star Fish.

This was a Christmas gift to Logan from Aunt Carol and Uncle Eric...Logan absolutely loves it!

As you can see...Logan was excited to get started.

So he got ready...

Stopped to get the go ahead from me...

Heard me give him the go-ahead...

and he was off!

Without much water...and daddy...the tub isn't too much fun.

Now, it's better.

Loved this photo of Logan chompin' on the life preserver.

I won't lie, I have fun playing with the toys too. I love Logan watching me, because later he tried to imitate me.

Logan thought it looked fun, so he wanted in on the action.

A few minutes later I went fishing and came up with a orange fish and Logan!

After all the fun time, it was now time to get cleaned up and ready for bed.

Logan peeking out at me from under his shark towel...too stinkin' awesome.

Ha ha, and while Mommy was getting him ready for bed he found a crayon to chomp on.

One of the last things we do before being put down, and quite frankly my favorite part of the day, saying our bed time prayers.

If there was one thing I would change about bath time nights, it would be that we had a bigger tub...but seriously, this is one my favorite times too. It's fun to see him splashing around and playing with his toys. And at the end of the night my prayer for him is that he will grow up to be a young man of God and that he will use the gifts that God has blessed him with to bless those around him. I cannot wait to see what God does with his life, I just hope that we don't do anything to hinder God's plans.
