Santa! I Know Him!!!

On Satuday, after Double Daddy Duty, Renae and I took Logan to Waterloo Gardens to meet Santa Claus.

I want to stop and thank Waterloo Gardens for what they do. They host a Santa Claus for a couple of hours for a few Saturdays in December. It is a BYOC (bring your own camera) photo sessions that costs nothing...that's right NOTHING! I also need to give a shout out to our friend Megan for letting Renae know about this little hidden gem.

In retrospect I would recommend this to everyone. Reasons???
1. Free Pictures...I should be able to stop there.
2. You can take multiple pictures, and get different angles.
3. Santa is awesome, he has been doing this for at leats 9 years from what I picked up.
4. Revert back to the first reason...FREE!!!!

Megan's family was ahead of us in line and so I snagged a few pictures for them. I love the photos of the boys talking with Santa. My very favorite is the one on on the left where Santa had asked the younger brother what he wanted for Christmas, after standing speechless for a moment, his older brother began to whisper in his ear what to say. They ended up getting a great family opportunity with Santa.

Logan's first interaction with Jolly Ol' Saint Nick.

I think after a couple of years Santa will not be able to contain all the excitement that Logan will have for Christmas.

Thank you Megan for snapping a few pictures of us as a family with Santa. I didn't want to ask...but was secretly hopping that we could get a family photo.

We then walked around Waterloo and posed Logan with anything that we could. The penguin was from my childhood and the bear was from Renae's. Our favorite was the overload with both the bear and began as can be seen in the photo below.

All in all it was a great day. The morning was for Renae to get away and relax. The afternoon was for our family to hang out and enjoy the festive feeling of Christmas being only weeks away. The evening was also loaded with fun as we had traveled to two Christmas parties. Renae and I have been so blessed this season to not feel stressed about life, and work and who's going where when...but we have truly been able to just relax and enjoy this time of the year.

One of my personal favorite photos from their huge village display that they had in the front of their Christmas display center.

  1. Looks like your family photo is a tad blurry...sorry I didn't do a better job! So glad you guys joined us and enjoyed the experience as much as we do. I don't understand why anyone goes to the mall for pictures with Santa when they could do this! Santa and Logan were so sweet together...Santa seemed to really enjoy holding a baby :)
