It's crazy to think about how time flies by. Honestly, I remember the anticipation of Logan's arrival like it was yesterday. I remember when Renae had her false alarm, and I called out of work and we went in to the hospital where nothing progressed. I also remember telling Renae, which was for selfish reasons, that she should have Logan on a Sunday weekend night so that I could maximize the amount of time off I could take to be with them...that same night Renae also told Logan that enough was enough and it was time to hurry up!
The next day, on a weekend day mind you, Logan Micah Reigner was welcomed into the real world. Luckily, Renae has documented each of his months in our blog that she posts on
Life with the Reigner's. She has posted each of his months in detail, documented some of the adventures and gains that Logan made in each of those months.
I was just looking back at some of the pictures and cracking up and just simply being amazed at the changes over the last 10 months. Here are some pictures that I borrowed from her blogs (each picture follows the same order, a shot next to the stuffed monkey for size reference, and then him sitting/trying to sit next to the monkey in the glider rocker):

Now, here is the 10 month old boy! I guess that it is time to start really thinking about his 1st Birthday. We are gonna do it up for the little guy. Renae is on decoration, guest list, invites, party favors, etc And I am on cake...and food...but with a heavy focus on the cake.
| Renae was able to get him near the monkey... |
| But he didn't want to sit "next" to the monkey... |
| So he got down. |
| But then in getting him to lay next to the monkey he got a little sidetracked. |
| Because he found a pen on the floor... |
| and then his little spinny toy... |
| and then his sippy cup... |
| and then his puzzle. |
| She was able to get him there for a few seconds before the little guy cried and rolled himself away... |
I love this Kevin great idea and he's getting so big.
ReplyDeleteYes he is! I can't wait until he's old enough to go outside and have a catch with the "old" man.
